Buy some tools

How to apply

Permanent or semi permanent?
Permanent hair colour is just that, permanent, so you need to be sure you like the colour before you choose. If starting out opt for a semi permanent that will wash out over time.
In a permanent hair dye kit, you’ll usually have to mix two parts together an oxidizer with ammonia and the colouring agent – before you apply them to your hair. Permanent dyes can be more damaging to your locks as the chemicals are stronger than those used in temporary hair colours, but results will last longer.
Semi permanaent or wash in wash out don’t require any mixing, they can be used straight from the box. However, the final colour will gradually fade over about six weeks depending on how often you wash it. Remember temporary dyes don’t contain any bleach so you won’t be able to make your hair any lighter – only darker.
