Benylin Children's Dry Cough Syrup helps relieve dry coughs and allergy symptoms in children aged 6 to 12. Its active ingredient, diphenhydramine, is an antihistamine that calms coughs and dries mucus secretions in the nose and chest, while levomenthol helps your child breathe more easily.
Our pharmacists often recommend it for dry coughs in children over six, especially when the cough is worse at night or comes with a runny nose or sneezing. It can cause drowsiness, so it's for short-term use only and should not be used as a sleep aid.
