How to Use

Apply sparingly to the affected area up to four times daily. Do not use on the face, broken skin, or near the eyes. Avoid covering with bandages or dressings. Use for a maximum of 7 days, then reduce to 2–3 times per week as symptoms improve. Not suitable for children under 12, or for use during pregnancy or breastfeeding without medical advice.

Warnings & Cautions

Do not use Cortopin 1% w/w Cream:

• If you are allergic to hydrocortisone or any other ingredient in this product
• If you have a bacterial (e.g. impetigo), viral (e.g. cold sores, chickenpox), or fungal (e.g. athlete's foot, ringworm, thrush) skin infection
• On your face, near your eyes, on the anal or genital region, or on broken skin

Not suitable for:

• Short-lived allergic skin reactions (wheal and flare)
• Conditions affecting deeper skin layers, such as granulomas
• Psoriasis — only use on medical advice with careful supervision

Do not cover the area with a plaster or dressing after application. Do not apply to the face for extended periods. Please inform your doctor of any other medicines you are taking, including those obtained without a prescription. Tell your doctor if you are or may be pregnant. If breastfeeding, do not apply to the chest area.

Active substance: Hydrocortisone 10 mg per 1 g (1%). Other ingredients: Cetostearyl alcohol, chlorocresol, liquid paraffin, macrogol cetostearyl ether, white soft paraffin, and purified water.
