ALLEVYN Adhesive 10cm x 10cm is an advanced foam wound dressing from Smith & Nephew, specifically designed to manage chronic and acute exuding wounds. Its unique triple-layer technology maintains optimum moisture levels to support moist wound healing, while the low-allergy adhesive keeps the dressing securely in place without adhering to the wound.

Triple Layer Technology

• Breathable Top Film: The outer polyurethane film becomes more breathable in the presence of exudate, prevents strikethrough, and provides an effective barrier to bacteria — minimising the risk of cross-contamination
• Highly Absorbent Foam Core: The hydrocellular foam core provides high absorption capacity for up to 7 days, transpiring, retaining, and absorbing fluid to maintain a healthy wound environment
• Non-Adherent Wound Contact Layer: Low-allergy adhesive adheres well to intact skin, will not stick to the wound, and has a proven low risk of skin irritation

Indications for Use

• Shallow, granulating wounds
• Chronic and acute exudative wounds
• Full and partial thickness wounds (pressure ulcers, leg ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers)
