ALLEVYN Classic Non-Adhesive is a highly absorbent, non-adherent foam dressing from Smith & Nephew, designed for the management of moderate to heavily exuding wounds. Unlike the adhesive version, it has no border adhesive — making it ideal for fragile, sensitive, or compromised skin where adhesive removal could cause trauma. It can be secured with a secondary dressing or bandage as required.

• Highly breathable top film — minimises the risk of maceration to the wound and peri-wound area
• Effective bacterial barrier — helps prevent fluid and bacterial strikethrough

Suitable for use on:

• Shallow, granulating wounds
• Chronic and acute exudative wounds

How to Use

• Clean the wound thoroughly with a suitable solution and dry carefully
• Apply the dressing directly over the wound — no adhesive border; secure with a secondary dressing, bandage, or tape as required
• Can be cut to fit awkward areas
• Change when saturated or as directed by a healthcare professional
