Alpecin Grey Attack Caffeine & Colour Shampoo is a daily shampoo designed to gradually reduce the appearance of grey hair while cleansing and caring for the scalp. Its repigmentation technology uses 5,6-Dihydroxyindole (5,6-DHI), which develops darker colour pigments within the hair over repeated applications for a gradual, natural-looking result rather than the immediate effect of conventional hair dye.

The convenient 200ml bottle combines daily cleansing with Alpecin's Caffeine Complex and is particularly suited to light brown through to black hair.

Repigmentation Technology

• 5,6-Dihydroxyindole (5,6-DHI) – The key repigmentation ingredient. During repeated use, it reacts with oxygen to form colour pigments within the hair. Because the colour builds gradually, the transition is designed to look more natural than an abrupt conventional dye result.

How to Use

Apply daily to wet hair and massage into the scalp to create a lather. Leave on for 2–5 minutes, then rinse thoroughly. Longer contact time intensifies the colour effect.

Once the desired colour result has been achieved, Alpecin suggests alternating Grey Attack with a regular shampoo to help maintain the preferred shade.
