Anusol HC Ointment provides effective relief from both internal and external haemorrhoids (piles). Containing Hydrocortisone alongside proven astringent and soothing ingredients, it works in four ways to treat piles comprehensively.
How It Works:
Who is this medicine for?
Suitable for adults aged 18 and over. Not recommended for children under 18.
How to Use:
For external piles: Wash the anal area with gentle soap and dry with a soft towel. Gently apply the ointment to the affected area.
For internal piles: Wash and dry the affected area. Screw the nozzle provided onto the tube and remove the nozzle cap. Insert the nozzle into the back passage and squeeze gently. Clean the nozzle after each use.
Wash hands before and after use.
Precautions:
Do not use if allergic to any ingredient. Consult your doctor before use if you experience rectal bleeding or blood in the stool.
Pregnancy & Breastfeeding:
Contact your pharmacist, GP or hospital doctor before using this medicine if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Active Ingredients:
Hydrocortisone Acetate, Zinc Oxide, Bismuth Subgallate, Peru Balsam, Bismuth Oxide, Benzyl Benzoate. Please see product packaging for a full list of excipients.
Storage:
Do not store above 25°C. Do not use after the expiry date. Keep out of reach of children. Return unused or out-of-date medicines to your pharmacy for safe disposal.
