Anusol HC Ointment — Haemorrhoid Relief with Hydrocortisone

Anusol HC Ointment contains hydrocortisone acetate to reduce inflammation and ease the pain and discomfort of haemorrhoids (piles), alongside active ingredients to soothe itch and irritation. Suitable for both internal and external haemorrhoids.

How It Works

The hydrocortisone reduces inflammation while zinc oxide, bismuth compounds and balsam peru work together to soothe, protect and shrink haemorrhoidal tissue, providing effective multi-action relief.

How to Use

1. Wash hands thoroughly before use
2. Gently cleanse the affected area and pat dry
3. External piles: Apply ointment on a gauze dressing to the affected area
4. Internal piles: Screw the rectal nozzle provided onto the tube, insert gently into the anus and squeeze lightly; clean nozzle after each use
5. Use sparingly at night, in the morning, and after each bowel movement
6. Maximum 4 applications per day
7. Do not use for more than 7 consecutive days

Active Ingredients (per 100g)

• Hydrocortisone acetate 0.25g
• Zinc oxide 10.75g
• Bismuth subgallate 2.25g
• Balsam peru 1.875g
• Bismuth oxide 0.875g
• Benzyl benzoate 1.25g

Other Ingredients

Magnesium stearate, theobroma oil, wool fat (lanolin anhydrous), castor oil, kaolin light, white soft paraffin, calcium hydrogen phosphate.
