Anusol Suppositories 24 Pack

Anusol Suppositories provide soothing relief from the discomfort associated with internal haemorrhoids (piles), including pain, itching and irritation. They help soothe and shrink piles, reduce inflammation and relieve discomfort, particularly during and after bowel movements.

How to use

Adults and elderly: Insert one suppository in the morning and at night, and after each bowel movement as necessary. A small amount of Anusol Cream or Ointment may be used to help with insertion.

Children: Not recommended.

How to insert an Anusol suppository

1. If necessary, empty your bowels before use. Wash your hands thoroughly, then gently clean and dry the affected area.
2. Remove the suppository completely from its wrapping.
3. Lie on your side with one leg bent, or stand with one leg raised. Gently insert the pointed end into the back passage, far enough that it does not slip out.
4. Remain sitting or lying down for approximately 15 minutes so the suppository can remain in place.
5. Wash your hands thoroughly after use.

How long to use

Do not use Anusol Suppositories for an extended period without consulting a doctor or pharmacist. If your symptoms do not improve after a few days, or if they become worse, seek medical advice.

Active ingredients

• Zinc Oxide, 296 mg: Soothes irritated skin, reduces swelling and acts as a protective barrier.
• Bismuth Subgallate, 59 mg, and Bismuth Oxide, 24 mg: Provide mild antiseptic and astringent properties to help dry and protect raw tissue.
• Balsam Peru, 49 mg: Helps protect sore areas, with mild antiseptic properties.

Other ingredients
