When your child has a chesty cough, it's a distressing time for them and a worrying time for you. Benylin Children's Chesty Cough Syrup is specially formulated to relieve children's chesty coughs quickly, without causing drowsiness.

How to Use

1. For oral use.
2. Children 6 to 12 years: two 5ml spoonfuls (10ml). No more than 4 doses in 24 hours. Maximum daily dose: 40ml.
3. Use only when simple measures have failed to provide adequate relief.
4. Do not use for more than 5 days without consulting your doctor or pharmacist.
5. Not recommended for children under 6 years.

Warnings

• Do not exceed the stated dose.
• Do not take with any other cough and cold medicine.
• Do not use for a persistent or chronic cough, such as with asthma, or if the cough comes with excess phlegm, unless directed by a doctor.
• Consult a pharmacist or other healthcare professional before use in children under 12 years.
• If pregnant or breastfeeding, consult your doctor or pharmacist before use.
• Consult your doctor or pharmacist if symptoms persist.
• Diabetics: contains approximately 1.8g sorbitol in each 5ml. It is unlikely to affect diabetic control.
• Keep out of the sight and reach of children.

Storage

• Do not store above 25°C. Store in the original container.
• Keep the bottle tightly closed to protect from moisture.
• Do not use if the bottle seal is broken when purchased.
