Bioderma ABCDerm Péri-Oral Soothing Cream helps soothe and protect the delicate skin around the mouth of babies and young children. Designed for redness, dryness and discomfort associated with saliva, drooling and food residue, it provides moisturising care while supporting the skin's natural barrier.

The formula features Bioderma's Amylpriv™ Patent to help inhibit alpha-amylase, an enzyme found in saliva that can contribute to irritation. Panthenol, beta-sitosterol, allantoin and glycyrrhetinic acid help calm and comfort the skin, while copper and zinc help purify the area.

Fragrance-free and naturally coloured, the cream becomes colourless when applied. Suitable from birth, excluding premature infants, it fits easily into daily care when the skin around the mouth needs extra comfort and protection.

Key Ingredients

  • Amylpriv™ Patent (tamarind extract): helps inhibit alpha-amylase, an enzyme in saliva that can contribute to irritation.
  • Panthenol (vitamin B5): helps soothe, moisturise and support the skin's natural repair process.
  • Beta-sitosterol: helps calm and comfort irritated skin.
  • Allantoin: helps soothe and soften dry, uncomfortable skin.
  • Glycyrrhetinic acid (enoxolone): helps calm irritation and skin discomfort.
  • Copper sulfate and zinc sulfate: help purify and care for the skin.
  • Glycerin: helps attract and retain moisture.
  • Mineral oil: helps soften the skin and protect against moisture loss.

How to Use

  1. Gently cleanse the area around the mouth to remove saliva, food residue and impurities.
  2. Ensure the skin is thoroughly clean and dry.
  3. Apply a small amount to the irritated area around the mouth and gently massage until absorbed.
  4. Apply 2–3 times daily, or as required, following the product instructions.

Important Information

Do not apply to damaged skin or areas with oozing lesions. Avoid contact with the eyes and do not swallow. If irritation persists, consult a healthcare professional. Not suitable for premature infants.
