Brupro for Children Six Plus is an orange-flavoured ibuprofen liquid specifically formulated for children aged 6 to 12 years who weigh at least 20kg. Each 5ml contains Ibuprofen 200mg, providing short-term symptomatic relief from mild to moderate pain and fever.

How to Use
Shake the bottle well before use. Measure each dose carefully using the oral dosing syringe supplied with the product.

Children 6–9 years (20–29kg): Give 5ml (200mg) three times in 24 hours.

Children 10–12 years (30–40kg): Give 7.5ml (300mg) three times in 24 hours.
Allow at least 6 hours between doses. Do not exceed the recommended dose. This medicine is intended for short-term use only. If the medicine is required for more than 3 days, or if the child's symptoms worsen, consult a doctor.
Ingredients
Each 5ml of oral suspension contains: Ibuprofen 200mg.
Other ingredients include propylene glycol (E1520), glycerol (E422), xanthan gum, citric acid, sodium benzoate (E211), polysorbate 80, saccharin sodium, sorbitol liquid (E420), sodium citrate, orange flavour containing ethanol and purified water.
Each 5ml also contains 140mg sorbitol, 50mg propylene glycol, 10mg sodium benzoate and 5.25mg ethanol.

Warnings
- Do not give to children under 6 years of age or weighing less than 20kg.
- Do not use if the child is allergic to ibuprofen, other NSAIDs or any of the ingredients, or has previously experienced asthma, breathing difficulties, swelling, hives or another allergic reaction after taking aspirin or another NSAID.
- Do not use in children with a history of recurrent stomach or duodenal ulcers, gastrointestinal bleeding, previous NSAID-related gastrointestinal perforation, severe kidney, liver or heart failure, active bleeding, certain blood-clotting disorders or severe dehydration.
- Do not give at the same time as another medicine containing ibuprofen or another NSAID unless specifically advised by a healthcare professional.
- Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration necessary.
- Do not exceed the recommended dose. Allow at least 6 hours between doses and consult a doctor if treatment is required for longer than 3 days.
- Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
