A high-capacity sterile absorbent dressing pad designed for use on moderate to heavily exuding wounds. The four-layer construction absorbs many times its own weight in exudate, while the waterproof backing prevents fluid leakage. Individually sealed and sterilised, it is suitable as a primary or secondary dressing for wounds with significant exudate output.

  • Wound contact layer — white polypropylene, very low adherence
  • External layer — blue SMS 100% polypropylene with hydrophobic properties to prevent leakage
  • Inner layer — cellulose fluff for high absorbency
  • Middle layers — tissue paper with spread properties
• Waterproof backing — keeps absorbed fluid contained within the pad
• Sterile — individually sealed and sterilised by steam or gas
• Suitable as a secondary dressing for high exuding wounds

Indications

• Moderate to heavily exuding wounds
• Chronic wounds such as leg ulcers and pressure sores
• Bleeds and acute wounds requiring high absorption
• Secondary dressing over primary wound contact layers

How to Use

• Apply the pad directly to the wound or over a primary wound contact dressing
• Secure with tape or bandage as required
• Change when saturated or as directed by a healthcare professional
