Canesten Thrush Cream is a double-strength 2% clotrimazole cream for soothing relief of the itching and soreness of external thrush. It can also be used to treat your male partner.

Suitable for

Adults and children aged 12 to 60 years. You must be at least 18 years old to purchase this product.

How to use

Women:

1. Before first use, pierce the tube seal by inverting the cap over the end of the tube and pressing.
2. Apply thinly and evenly to the area around the entrance of the vagina 2 or 3 times a day, smoothing in gently.
3. Use a product to treat the internal (vaginal) infection at the same time.
4. Continue until symptoms disappear. Consult your doctor if symptoms do not improve within seven days of finishing treatment for the internal infection.

Treating your sexual partner: apply to the end of the penis 2 or 3 times a day for up to two weeks.

Do not exceed the stated dose. Always read the enclosed leaflet before use.

Ingredients

Active ingredient: one tube contains clotrimazole 400mg (2% w/w).

Also contains: Benzyl alcohol, polysorbate 60, sorbitan stearate, cetyl palmitate, cetostearyl alcohol, octyldodecanol and purified water.

Storage

Store in the original carton. No special storage conditions required. Do not use after the expiry date shown on the carton and tube. Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
