Step out with confidence again. Compeed Discreet Blister Plasters are hydrocolloid dressings designed to protect and cushion foot blisters, helping relieve pain while supporting the natural healing process. Their translucent, tapered edges blend seamlessly with the skin for a barely-there appearance — so you can get on with your day without a plaster drawing attention.

Key Benefits

  • Provides instant relief from blister pain
  • Hydrocolloid technology supports faster natural healing
  • Deep cushioning helps redistribute pressure and reduce painful rubbing
  • Translucent, tapered edges provide a discreet appearance
  • Strong adhesive helps keep the plaster securely in place
  • Water-resistant and breathable
  • Can remain in place for several days, depending on the individual and blister location
  • Flexible design moves naturally with the skin

How It Works

Compeed's hydrocolloid technology contains moisture-absorbing particles. When the plaster absorbs fluid from the blister, the hydrocolloid forms a gel and creates a moist environment that supports healing. The cushioned layer also reduces pressure and friction over the blister, while the adhesive edges help protect the damaged skin as it heals.

It is normal for a Compeed plaster to develop a white area or bubble during use — this indicates that the hydrocolloid has absorbed fluid from the blister.

How to Use

  1. Clean and thoroughly dry the skin. Make sure the blister area is free from creams and oils.
  2. Remove the protective papers without touching the adhesive surface.
  3. Position the plaster directly over the blister.
  4. Press firmly and smooth down the edges.
  5. Leave the plaster in place until it begins to detach naturally. It may remain attached for several days.
  6. To remove, do not pull upwards — slowly stretch the plaster along the skin instead.

When to Use

Compeed can be applied to an existing blister to relieve pain and protect it from further rubbing. It can also be applied at the first sign of friction or rubbing to help prevent a blister from developing. There is generally no need to deliberately burst a blister before applying the plaster. If the blister has already opened, clean the area before covering it.

Materials

The key functional component is a hydrocolloid gel layer containing moisture-absorbing particles. Unlike medicated blister treatments, its main action is physical: absorbing fluid, cushioning the affected area and protecting it from friction.

Warnings

  • For external use only.
  • Do not apply to an infected wound.
  • Do not reuse a plaster, as this may increase the risk of infection.
  • Never cut a Compeed plaster.
  • People with diabetes should consult their doctor before use.
  • If the blister becomes worse or fails to heal, discontinue the activity causing the friction and seek medical advice.
  • Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
  • Store at room temperature.
