Dioralyte Rebalance Citrus is a lemon and lime flavoured oral rehydration treatment formulated to replace essential water and electrolytes lost through diarrhoea and gastrointestinal fluid loss. Each sachet contains a balanced combination of glucose and electrolytes — including sodium chloride, potassium chloride and disodium hydrogen citrate — to support the absorption of water and sodium in the intestine and help restore fluid and electrolyte balance. Each sachet is dissolved in exactly 200ml of water, and this larger pack contains 14 individually measured sachets.

Key Ingredients
Each sachet contains:
- Glucose 3.56g – Works with sodium to promote the absorption of water and sodium from the intestine.
- Sodium Chloride 0.47g – Helps replace sodium and chloride lost through gastrointestinal fluid loss.
- Potassium Chloride 0.30g – Provides potassium to help replenish electrolyte losses.
- Disodium Hydrogen Citrate 0.53g – Provides additional sodium and citrate as part of the balanced oral rehydration formulation.
Each sachet contains approximately 278.4mg sodium.
How to Use
- Empty the contents of one sachet into a glass and add exactly 200ml (approximately 7 fl oz) of drinking water. Stir until completely dissolved.
- Do not use more or less water, and do not boil the solution after it has been prepared.
- Children over 2 years: Give 1 sachet after every loose stool.
- Adults, including the elderly: Take 1–2 sachets after every loose stool.
- Children under 2 years: Use only under medical advice.
- When vomiting occurs with diarrhoea, take the solution in small, frequent amounts.
- Do not exceed 14 sachets in 24 hours and do not use for more than 5 days.
- Once prepared, use within 1 hour, or refrigerate at 2–8°C and use within 24 hours.
Ingredients
Each sachet contains: Sodium Chloride 0.47g, Potassium Chloride 0.30g, Glucose 3.56g, Disodium Hydrogen Citrate 0.53g.
Other ingredients include colloidal anhydrous silica, saccharin sodium and lemon/lime flavour. The citrus flavour contains sulphur dioxide (E220).

Warnings
- Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients.
- Contains sulphur dioxide (E220), which may rarely cause severe hypersensitivity reactions and bronchospasm.
- Speak to a doctor or pharmacist before use if you have kidney or liver disease, diabetes, are following a low-potassium or low-sodium diet, or if the product is intended for a child under 2 years.
- If diarrhoea continues for longer than 24–36 hours, seek medical advice.
- Do not exceed 14 sachets per day and do not use for more than 5 days.
