Dr. Scholl's Ingrown Toenail Pain Relief Strips cushion a tender toe and gently separate the toenail from the surrounding skin. Each non-medicated adhesive strip has a soft central polyurethane pad with a raised ridge, designed to reduce pressure while walking or wearing shoes. Pack of 10 strips.
Why choose them?
- Raised ridge sits between the nail and tender skin to help ease pressure.
- Soft pad cushions the affected area against everyday friction.
- Dr. Scholl's states the strips are clinically tested to provide up to 12 hours of pain relief.
- Adhesive design wraps around the toe for secure, discreet wear.
- Provides physical cushioning, not treatment for an infection.
Materials and design
Polyurethane cushioning pad with raised separating ridge, flexible fabric backing and adhesive. These are non-medicated foot-care strips, not a product with a conventional ingredients list.
How to Use
Clean and thoroughly dry the toenail and surrounding skin. Open a pouch and peel the shorter end of the pad from its release paper along the serrated line. Without forcing the nail, position the raised ridge in the groove between the toenail and tender skin. Place the shorter padded section over the sensitive area and wrap its adhesive around the toe. Remove the remaining release paper, place the longer padded section over the nail, and wrap to secure, leaving a small space at the base of the nail as directed on the pack.
Remove before bed and apply a fresh strip in the morning after bathing. The strips are not waterproof; remove before showering or swimming. Do not use if you have diabetes, peripheral vascular disorder, peripheral neuropathy or a toe infection. Seek professional advice for signs of infection, severe nail curling or significant problems. Follow the pack instructions.
