Easofen 200mg Film-Coated Tablets contain ibuprofen 200mg and are used for the short-term relief of mild to moderate pain, including headache, dental pain, period pain and muscular strains. They can also be used for the symptomatic management of head colds and influenza. Ibuprofen is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) with pain-relieving, anti-inflammatory and fever-reducing properties.

Key Ingredient

How to Use

• Adults and adolescents over 12 years: The usual initial dose is 400mg (2 tablets). If necessary, take 200–400mg (1–2 tablets) every 4 hours.
• Maximum dose: 1200mg (6 tablets) in any 24-hour period.
• Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration necessary to relieve symptoms.
• If an adolescent requires the medicine for more than 3 days, or symptoms worsen, seek medical advice.
• Not recommended for children under 12 years.

Ingredients

Each film-coated tablet contains: Ibuprofen 200mg.

Other ingredients are maize starch, sodium starch glycolate (Type A) and magnesium stearate. The film coating contains hypromellose, macrogol 400 and macrogol 6000. The tablets are round, white and biconvex.

• Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest possible duration.
