Active Ingredients (per tablet)

• Sodium Alginate 250mg – reacts with gastric contents to form a protective raft that floats on top of stomach contents, helping reduce reflux into the oesophagus
• Sodium Hydrogen Carbonate 106.5mg – antacid that helps neutralise excess stomach acid and contributes to formation of the alginate raft
• Calcium Carbonate 187.5mg – antacid that neutralises stomach acid, helping relieve discomfort associated with heartburn and indigestion

How to Use

Adults and children aged 12 years and over: thoroughly chew 2–4 tablets after meals and at bedtime, up to 4 times per day. Tablets should be thoroughly chewed before swallowing.

• Treatment of children under 12 years is not recommended.
• If symptoms have not improved after 7 days, consult a doctor.
• Do not take Gaviscon within 2 hours of other oral medicines, as antacids can interfere with the action or absorption of some medicines.

Each tablet provides 5.86mg aspartame, 0.375mg carmoisine lake, 1.59mg sucrose and 55.936mg sodium.
