Gaviscon Peppermint Chewable Tablets provide relief from symptoms of gastro-oesophageal reflux, including heartburn, acid regurgitation and reflux-related indigestion. They combine sodium alginate with two antacids: the antacids neutralise excess stomach acid while sodium alginate forms a protective layer over the stomach contents to help reduce reflux. No water is required, making them a convenient option at any time.

Active Ingredients

Each chewable tablet contains:

• Sodium Alginate 250mg – Forms a protective raft over the stomach contents to help reduce reflux.
• Sodium Hydrogen Carbonate 133.5mg – An antacid that helps neutralise excess stomach acid and contributes to raft formation.
• Calcium Carbonate 80mg – Provides additional acid-neutralising action.

How to Use

• Thoroughly chew 2–4 tablets after meals and at bedtime, up to four times daily.
• Adults and children aged 12 years and over: 2–4 tablets after meals and at bedtime.
• Children under 12 years: Use only on medical advice.
• If symptoms do not improve after 7 days, seek medical advice.
