Imodium LiquiRelief contains loperamide hydrochloride 2mg per soft capsule and is used for the symptomatic treatment of sudden, short-lived (acute) diarrhoea in adults and children aged 12 years and over. The liquid-filled soft capsules work by slowing an overactive bowel, allowing more water and salts to be absorbed and helping reduce the frequency of loose stools.

Key Ingredient
Loperamide Hydrochloride 2mg – Loperamide acts on the bowel to slow intestinal movement, allowing more water and salts to be absorbed and reducing the frequency of loose stools.
How to Use
- Swallow the capsules with water.
- Adults and children aged 12 years and over: Take 2 capsules initially, followed by 1 capsule after each loose stool.
- Do not take more than 5 capsules (10mg) in any 24-hour period.
- Not for use in children under 12 years.
Ingredients
Each soft capsule contains: Loperamide Hydrochloride 2mg.
Other ingredients include propylene glycol monocaprylate, propylene glycol, purified water, gelatin, glycerol, FD&C Blue (E133), soya lecithin and medium-chain triglycerides.

Important Information
- Do not use in children under 12 years of age.
- Do not use if there is blood in the stools accompanied by a high temperature.
- Should not be used in certain inflammatory bowel conditions or where slowing the bowel should be avoided.
- Diarrhoea can cause significant loss of fluids and electrolytes — adequate fluid and electrolyte replacement is important.
