Imodium Plus provides dual-action relief from acute diarrhoea and its associated symptoms — bloating, abdominal cramping, and excess wind. Each tablet combines loperamide hydrochloride 2mg and simethicone 125mg to tackle both the cause and the discomfort in one convenient dose.

Active Ingredients

Loperamide hydrochloride 2mg — Slows intestinal movement, allowing more water to be absorbed and reducing the frequency of loose bowel movements

Simethicone 125mg — Relieves bloating, abdominal discomfort, and trapped wind associated with excess gas
How to Take
Adults (18+): Take 2 tablets initially, then 1 tablet after each loose bowel movement. Maximum 4 tablets in 24 hours. Do not use for more than 2 days.
Adolescents (12–18 years): Take 1 tablet initially, then 1 tablet after each loose bowel movement. Maximum 4 tablets in 24 hours. Do not use for more than 2 days.
Swallow whole with a glass of water. Do not exceed the recommended dose — taking more than stated can cause serious heart problems.
Important Information
- Drink plenty of fluids while experiencing diarrhoea to avoid dehydration
- Stop use and consult a doctor if symptoms do not improve within 2 days
- Not suitable for children under 12 years
- If pregnant or breastfeeding, consult a healthcare professional before use
Do Not Take If You Have
- Blood in stools or black stools
- High temperature or fever
- Severe abdominal pain or swelling
- Diarrhoea following antibiotic treatment
- An active inflammatory bowel flare-up
Possible Side Effects

Storage
Store below 25°C in original packaging. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date. Return unused or expired medicines to your pharmacist for safe disposal.
