Lamisil AT cream

Lamisil AT 1% Cream is an antifungal treatment for fungal skin infections — athlete's foot (tinea pedis), especially between the toes, and jock itch, also called dhobie itch (tinea cruris). Its active ingredient, terbinafine, kills the fungus responsible while relieving the itching, burning and scaling it causes. A short once-daily course treats most infections in a week.

How to use
Cleanse and dry the affected area, and wash your hands.
Apply a thin layer to the affected skin and surrounding area, once a day. Rub in gently. For between the toes or the groin, you can cover with a light gauze strip, especially at night.
Replace the cap and wash your hands. Continue for one week.
For external use only — do not use on the face, and avoid the eyes.
If there's no improvement within two weeks, speak to your pharmacist or doctor.

Who shouldn't use it
Anyone allergic to terbinafine or any ingredient in the cream
Children under 16 (not recommended)
Not for fungal nail infections (thick, flaky or discoloured nails) — see your doctor for these
Not for use in pregnancy or breastfeeding unless your doctor advises it
Tell your pharmacist about any other medicines before you start

Possible side effects
The most common effects (up to 1 in 10 people) are skin peeling and itching. Less commonly you may notice redness, burning, mild pain or irritation where it's applied — usually harmless. Stop and seek medical help immediately if you have a severe allergic reaction: difficulty breathing or swallowing, swelling of the face, lips or throat, or a severe itchy rash, hives or blisters.

Other Ingredients: sodium hydroxide, benzyl alcohol, sorbitan stearate, cetyl palmitate, cetyl alchol, stearyl alcohol, polysorbate 60, isopropyl myristate, purified water.
