Melolin is a low-adherent, non-adhesive wound dressing from Smith & Nephew, designed to minimise trauma and pain on removal. Its unique three-layer construction combines a perforated polyester film wound contact layer with a highly absorbent cotton and acrylic fibre pad, backed by a hydrophobic layer to prevent strike-through.

Ideal for use on a wide range of wounds including surgical wounds, burns, cuts, and abrasions. Requires a secondary fixation such as medical tape or a bandage.

How to Use

1. Clean and dry the wound area before application.
2. Open the sterile packaging and remove the dressing.
3. Place the film side (shiny side) directly against the wound.
4. Secure in place with medical tape or a bandage.
5. Change as directed by your healthcare professional or when saturated.

For single use only. Do not reuse. If wound shows signs of infection, consult a pharmacist or GP. Keep out of reach of children.
