Magnesium can’t be taken in pure form — it must be bound to another compound. Metagenics uses pure chelated magnesium bisglycinate, where magnesium is joined to two molecules of glycine. This form is better absorbed and tolerated than magnesium oxide, citrate, or carbonate. Glycine also has its own calming properties, making it an ideal pairing for sleep and stress support.
Take 2–3 tablets daily, ideally in the evening due to the calming effect on muscles and the nervous system. Can be taken with or without food.
