Key Ingredient

Ibuprofen 100mg/5ml – A non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) with analgesic, antipyretic and anti-inflammatory properties, helping relieve pain and reduce fever in children.

How to Use

• Use the supplied measuring spoon to measure each dose accurately.
• Dosage is based on the child’s age and weight. As a guide, children aged 3–6 months weighing 5–7.6kg receive 2.5ml three times in 24 hours; the dose increases according to age and weight.
• Do not give to babies under 3 months of age or weighing less than 5kg.
• For babies aged 3–5 months: seek medical advice if symptoms worsen or persist.
• For children aged 6 months and older: seek medical advice if symptoms worsen or have not improved after 3 days.

Important Information

• Do not give to babies under 3 months of age or weighing less than 5kg.
• Do not use if the child is allergic to ibuprofen, aspirin or other NSAIDs.
• Extra caution is required in children with asthma — ibuprofen may trigger symptoms in some cases.
• Ibuprofen should generally be avoided during chickenpox (varicella).
• Ensure the child remains adequately hydrated, particularly during illnesses involving vomiting or diarrhoea.
• This is the 100mg/5ml formulation (from 3 months). Do not confuse with the stronger 200mg/5ml Six Plus formulation for children aged 6+ weighing over 20kg.
• Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
