Frequently Asked Questions
Why choose 200mg ibuprofen over 400mg?
400mg ibuprofen is the maximum licensed OTC dose and provides a significantly stronger anti-inflammatory and analgesic effect than 200mg products. It is appropriate for moderate to severe pain where 200mg has not provided adequate relief — such as severe period pain, dental pain after extraction, or significant musculoskeletal injury. For mild pain or fever, 200mg ibuprofen is usually sufficient and better tolerated. They are smaller and easier to swallow.
Are liquid capsules faster than standard ibuprofen tablets?
Yes. The liquid ibuprofen inside the capsule shell dissolves and is absorbed faster than ibuprofen compressed into a solid tablet. Clinical studies show liquid-filled ibuprofen capsules reach peak blood levels faster than standard tablets, resulting in faster onset of pain relief — typically within 15–30 minutes. This makes them preferable for acute pain situations where fast relief is a priority.
