Key Ingredient

How to Use

• Use the supplied double-ended measuring spoon to measure each dose accurately.
• Children aged 6–9 years (20–29kg): Give 5ml, up to 3 times in 24 hours.
• Children aged 10–12 years (30–40kg): Give 7.5ml, up to 3 times in 24 hours.
• Separate doses by approximately 6–8 hours.
• Do not use in children under 6 years or weighing less than 20kg.
• If the medicine is required for more than 3 days, or symptoms worsen, consult a doctor.

Important Information

• Do not use in children under 6 years of age or weighing less than 20kg.
• This is the stronger 200mg/5ml formulation — do not confuse with Nurofen for Children 100mg/5ml (suitable from 3 months).
• Do not use if the child is allergic to ibuprofen, aspirin or other NSAIDs.
• Extra caution is required in children with asthma — ibuprofen may trigger symptoms in some cases.
• Ibuprofen should generally be avoided during chickenpox (varicella).
• Ensure the child remains adequately hydrated, particularly during illnesses involving vomiting or diarrhoea.
• If symptoms worsen or the medicine is needed for more than 3 days, consult a doctor.
• Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
