How to Use

Step 1: Custom Fit Your Splint (First Use Only)

1. Bring a pot of water to a boil, then remove from the heat
2. Place the dental splint in the hot water for 15–20 seconds until it softens
3. Carefully remove and allow to cool for a few seconds
4. Position the splint over your teeth
5. Bite down gently and press firmly against your teeth using your fingers and tongue to create a custom fit
6. Hold in place for approximately 1 minute
7. Remove and place in cold water for 2 minutes to set the shape

Step 2: Wear Nightly

• Wear the splint while sleeping to protect against teeth grinding and clenching
• May also be used during the day for jaw tension or daytime grinding if recommended
• A short adjustment period is normal when first wearing the splint

Step 3: Clean and Store

• After each use, rinse thoroughly with cold water
• Clean gently with a soft toothbrush and water or mild soap
• Do not use hot water — it may distort the custom fit
• Allow to dry completely before storing in the supplied case

Cautions

• Do not eat or chew while wearing the splint
• Remove if the splint becomes damaged or no longer fits properly
• Not suitable for children
• For severe teeth grinding, ongoing jaw pain, or TMJ concerns, consult your dentist before use
• Keep out of reach of children
