Paralink Paracetamol Oral Solution is a colourless, sugar-free, strawberry-flavoured liquid medicine containing paracetamol as its active ingredient. It's used to relieve mild to moderate pain and the symptoms of colds and flu, and to bring down a high temperature (fever) — including fever following childhood immunisation.

Paralink is a generic version of Calpol Infant: it works in exactly the same way and contains the same strength of active ingredient, but typically costs less. It is suitable for infants and children from 2 months of age, and comes with a dosing syringe for accurate, easy administration.

What It's Used For

• Mild to moderate pain relief

Active Ingredient & Composition

Each 5ml contains 120mg of paracetamol. Other ingredients include sorbitol (E420), liquid maltitol (E965), propylene glycol, and the preservatives ethyl (E214), methyl (E218) and propyl (E216) parahydroxybenzoate. Full details are available in the enclosed package leaflet.

Dosage Guidance

For general reference only — always follow the printed package leaflet and use the syringe provided.

Leave at least 4 hours between doses. Do not exceed the stated dose or give with any other paracetamol-containing product. If further doses are needed beyond the guidance above, speak to a doctor or pharmacist.

• Do not store above 25°C. Do not refrigerate.
• Keep in the original container to protect from light.
• Do not use after the expiry date shown on the pack.

• Seek immediate medical advice in the event of overdose — there is a risk of serious liver damage.
