Provoke Hair Colour Remover is a maximum-strength colour correction treatment designed to help remove unwanted permanent and semi-permanent oxidative hair dye. Rather than bleaching the hair, the system works by reducing artificial colour molecules so they can be rinsed from the hair, making it useful when you want to correct a colour result or prepare for a change of shade.

This bleach-free, ammonia-free system removes artificial colour rather than deliberately lightening the hair's natural pigment. The final result depends heavily on the hair's colour history, particularly where hair has previously been lightened with peroxide.

How It Works

The Activator and Remover are mixed immediately before application. The reducing formula acts on artificial oxidative colour molecules within the hair, allowing them to be washed away during the extensive rinsing stage.

Because the treatment removes artificial colour, the final result depends heavily on the hair's colour history. Hair that has previously been lightened by peroxide may not return to its original natural shade.

How to Use

Ensure the hair is completely dry before beginning and wear the supplied gloves. Pour the entire contents of Bottle 1 – Activator into Bottle 2 – Remover, replace the applicator nozzle and shake for approximately 30 seconds. Once mixed, use the product immediately.

Apply according to the enclosed instructions, ensuring the areas containing unwanted artificial colour are thoroughly covered. Follow the specified development time and rinsing procedure carefully. Thorough rinsing is particularly important with colour removers, as reduced dye molecules need to be washed out of the hair.

Important Information

  • Do not use metallic bowls, combs or other metallic implements during application
  • Protect clothing and surrounding surfaces, as the product may stain
  • Avoid contact with the eyes; rinse immediately with plenty of water if accidental contact occurs
  • A strand test is advisable before full application, particularly on heavily coloured, porous or previously bleached hair
  • Always follow the enclosed leaflet rather than relying on generic colour-remover timings
