Regaine for Men Extra Strength Scalp Foam 5% w/w is a minoxidil treatment for hereditary hair loss in men aged 18–65. It helps stimulate hair regrowth and prevent further thinning. This pack contains three containers.
Minoxidil helps stimulate hair follicles and supports the hair growth cycle. It is thought to work by:
The supplied product information states that visible results may appear in as little as eight weeks and that treatment helps stop further hair loss in eight out of ten men. These claims have not been independently verified for this listing.
Results vary. Treatment may be more effective when hair loss is recent or affects a smaller area at the top of the scalp. Men with longstanding baldness or extensive hair loss may experience less benefit.
Temporary increased shedding can occur during the initial weeks of treatment. Check the patient information leaflet for guidance and speak to your pharmacist if you are concerned.
Read the enclosed patient information leaflet carefully before use. Leaflets are updated periodically, so always follow the instructions supplied with your pack.
Ensure your hair and scalp are thoroughly dry. Apply 1g of foam, equivalent to half a capful, to the affected scalp twice daily, following the leaflet’s application instructions.
Do not exceed 2g daily or apply more than twice a day. Using more will not make hair regrow faster and may increase the risk of side effects.
Wash your hands after application and replace the cap when not in use.
For external use only. This product should not be used by women.

Extremely flammable aerosol. Pressurised container: may burst if heated.
Keep away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks, open flames and other ignition sources. Do not smoke during use. Do not spray onto an open flame or another ignition source.
Do not pierce or burn the container, even after use. Protect from sunlight, keep the container in its outer packaging and do not expose it to temperatures above 50°C.

Each gram of cutaneous foam contains 50mg of minoxidil, equivalent to 5% w/w.
Ethanol anhydrous, purified water, butylhydroxytoluene (E321), lactic acid, citric acid anhydrous, glycerol, cetyl alcohol, stearyl alcohol and polysorbate 60.
Propellants: propane, butane and isobutane.
