Rennie Peppermint is a chewable antacid medicine for the relief of heartburn and stomach upset caused by excess stomach acid. Each refreshing peppermint-flavoured tablet combines calcium carbonate and magnesium carbonate, which act locally in the stomach to neutralise excess acid. No water needed — simply chew or suck.
This 48-tablet pack is an officially listed Irish presentation. Irish product licence: PA1410/053/001. Licence holder: Bayer Limited.
Adults: Chew or suck 1–2 tablets as required. Do not exceed 11 tablets in 24 hours. Do not take continuously for longer than 2 weeks.
Speak to a doctor if you do not feel better or feel worse after 7 days.
Not recommended for people under 18 years — sufficient safety and efficacy data are not available for this age group.

Do not use Rennie Peppermint if you have severe kidney impairment, high calcium levels (hypercalcaemia), excessive calcium in the urine (hypercalciuria), calcium-containing kidney stones, or if you are allergic to any of its ingredients.
Antacids can interfere with the absorption of some other medicines. Follow the spacing instructions in the patient leaflet or ask your pharmacist if you are taking other medication.
Contains sucrose and glucose: each tablet contains 250mg sucrose and 250mg glucose. This formulation is not sugar-free.
