Rowachol Gastro-resistant Capsules are a specialised treatment used to assist in the dissolution and expulsion of gallstones. Formulated with a unique blend of plant-derived terpenes, Rowachol works by increasing natural bile production and relaxing the bile ducts — helping to reduce painful spasms and making it easier for gallstones to be passed.
These soft, green gelatine capsules are gastro-resistant, meaning they pass through the stomach and release their active ingredients directly where they are needed most.
Key Benefits
-
Gallstone Dissolution: Aids in the breaking up and disintegration of existing gallstones.
-
Pain Relief: Relaxes the bile ducts to help reduce painful spasms caused by stones.
-
Improved Bile Flow: Increases bile production to assist in the natural passage of gallstones.
-
Gastro-Resistant Formula: Specially coated capsules release their active ingredients in the intestines, not the stomach.
How It Works
Rowachol contains a precise blend of plant-derived active substances — including menthol, pinene, and borneol — that work together to improve gallbladder function. This dual action helps disintegrate gallstones and reduces painful bile duct contractions, allowing stones to move through the system more easily.
How to Take
Always take Rowachol exactly as described in the patient leaflet or as directed by your healthcare professional. Do not take Rowachol unless your doctor has confirmed a diagnosis of gallstones, especially in the case of children.

Who Should NOT Take Rowachol?
Do not take Rowachol if you:
- Have not had a diagnosis of gallstones confirmed by a doctor.

Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking if you are on blood-thinning medicines (e.g. warfarin) or any medicines metabolised by the liver.
Possible Side Effects
