Rowatanal Cream

Rowatanal Cream relieves the pain and itching associated with internal and external haemorrhoids (piles), pruritus and irritation around the back passage. With antiseptic and astringent (cleansing) properties, it relieves the intense itching and burning sensation associated with haemorrhoids.

For adults only. Consult your doctor if you do not feel better or if you feel worse.

How to Use:

For rectal use only — do not take by mouth. Wash the anal area thoroughly and dry carefully with a soft towel.

• Apply to the affected area 2–3 times daily and after each bowel movement until the condition is controlled
• For internal haemorrhoids: use the applicator nozzle provided. Lubricate before each application and clean thoroughly after use with a hot detergent solution
• Continue treatment for a few days after initial signs of improvement

Do not use Rowatanal if you:

• Are allergic to menthol, bismuth subgallate, zinc oxide or any other ingredient in this medicine

Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before use if:

• Your piles are bleeding or have been present for some time
• The condition persists or worsens
• You are taking any other medicines
• You are pregnant or breastfeeding

Active Ingredients (per 100g):

Menthol 1g, Bismuth Subgallate 2g, Zinc Oxide 8g.

Other Ingredients:

Hard Paraffin, Glycerol, Wool Fat, Calcium Carbonate, Glycerol Mono-Dioleate, Polyoxyethylene-12-Cetyl Stearyl Alcohol, Purified Water, Nipastat (Butyl Hydroxybenzoate, Ethyl Hydroxybenzoate (E214), Propyl Hydroxybenzoate (E216), Methyl Hydroxybenzoate (E218)).
