Active Ingredient
Each 5ml contains: Pseudoephedrine Hydrochloride 30mg
Other Ingredients: Citric acid monohydrate, sucrose, glycerol, methyl hydroxybenzoate (E218), sodium benzoate (E211), ponceau 4R (E124), raspberry flavour, and purified water.
Directions for Use
Adults and children aged 12 years and over:
- Take two 5ml spoonfuls every 4–6 hours as needed
- Do not take more than 4 doses in 24 hours
Children aged 6–12 years:
- Take one 5ml spoonful every 4–6 hours as needed
- Do not give for more than 5 days without medical advice
Do not exceed the recommended dose.
Important Warnings
Do not use this medicine if you:
- Are allergic to pseudoephedrine or any of the ingredients
- Have high blood pressure or heart disease
- Have diabetes
- Have glaucoma
- Have an overactive thyroid gland
- Have severe kidney or liver problems
- Have a phaeochromocytoma
Do not take if you are:
- Taking beta blockers
- Taking MAOIs or RIMAs for depression, or have taken them within the last 2 weeks
- Taking stimulant medicines, appetite suppressants, or other decongestants
- Taking any other cough or cold medicine
