Ultrapure Mineralised Methylated Spirits is a versatile solvent and household cleaning product made in Ireland by Ultrapure Laboratories. According to Ultrapure’s current Safety Data Sheet, the product is predominantly ethanol (ethyl alcohol), listed at 69–98%, with propan-2-ol (isopropyl alcohol/isopropanol) also identified among the components. Use only for an appropriate cleaning, solvent, or finishing application and follow the directions provided on the product packaging. For cleaning, apply only a small amount as required and work in a well-ventilated area. For specialist applications such as furniture finishing or paint/varnish removal, test first on a small, inconspicuous area and seek professional guidance where appropriate.
DANGER – Highly flammable liquid and vapour. Keep away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks, open flames, and all other ignition sources. No smoking. Keep the container tightly closed and store in a cool, well-ventilated place.
Causes serious eye irritation. Wear appropriate protective gloves and eye/face protection when required. If it gets into the eyes, rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses if present and easy to do, then continue rinsing. Wash hands thoroughly after handling.
Keep out of reach of children. Do not ingest and avoid unnecessary inhalation of vapours. Dispose of the product and container in accordance with applicable regulations. Always read the current bottle label and safety instructions before use.
